About: Service Packages

Standard

Normal planner/client relationship with all dealings on a professional basis, and all investments independently researched.

Fees:
3-5% upfront with standard trail paid by the Investment Providers
Plan Preparation fees are $330 - $550 inc GST
Annual Review fees are $275 inc GST
Ad hoc appointments (includes phone calls) are charged at $150 per hour (six minute intervals) - charged quarterly
Ad hoc reports are charged at $150 per hour (six minute intervals) - charged quarterly
Annual Management fee - as negotiated by Client and Planner

Gold

Normal planner/client relationship with all dealings on a professional basis, and all investments independently researched.

Plus:
Free seminar/workshop invitations - normally $20 per person
Free Annual Review - normally $275 inc GST
Quarterly Newsletter
Regular email updates
No Annual Management fee
No Plan Preparation fees (will be charged at $550 if client doesn't proceed)
Fees:
2.5% upfront with .8% pa trail
Ad hoc appointments (includes phone calls) are charged at $150 per hour (six minute intervals) - charged quarterly

Graeme Currie

DIRECTOR

Graeme Currie began his financial services career as a banker in the late Eighties, and while enjoying this career, decided there had to be more to life.

After studying an accounting degree at QUT, Graeme took a position in the back office of a financial planning practice in Brisbane, and it was here that he learnt the trade.

A stint with Macquarie Bank preceded his decision to start his own financial planning business that finally merged with Shayne to form North West Financial Services.

Graeme is married and has two daughters.

Shayne French

DIRECTOR

Shayne French was born in Maryborough, Queensland. His parents were publicans, managing and owning a number of hotel/motels throughout Queensland country.

His financial career started in 1987 as a financial consultant and then as the Client Liaison Manager for a financial planning practice in Brisbane.

Shayne gained valuable experience when he moved to the back office of Zurich Life Insurance. He held many different positions while there.

Shayne started his move to planning by becoming a Planner's Assistant for a financial planing office, where he assisted seven planners. Inevitably Shayne become a Planner and ultimately merged his business with his good friend Graeme to now own part of North West Financial Services.

Shayne is married to North West's Office Manager, Janelle.

Wayne Hamburger

DIRECTOR

Wayne Hamburger joined North West Financial Services as a Financial Adviser in January 2007 after being the General Manager of a successful home loan brokerage company. He has more than 15 years' experience in the financial services industry.

Wayne has played cricket with the Valleys District Cricket Club located at Ashgrove since 1985. He went to high school with Graeme and played cricket with both Shayne and Graeme over the years winning several premierships together. He has lived on the north side of Brisbane all of his life.

Steven Chapman 

B. Bus (Acc), CPA, MBA,  Dip FS (Fin. Plan)

Authorised Representative 

Steven Chapman is a Certified Practising Accountant and has over twenty years in senior managerial accounting position within the private and public sector.  This coupled with his experience within the financial services sector allows clients to receive comprehensive financial planning advice.

Steven’s main role is to provide holistic financial planning advice to individuals and corporations to assist them in achieving their financial goals. 

Steven is married and has twin boys.
